2. Open the generated view-source link
Click Copy in Step 2. Open a new tab in the same browser where you are logged in to Facebook, paste the link, and press Enter. The page will display the raw HTML source code of the video page.
3. Copy the source code and paste it into Step 3
Press Ctrl+A (Cmd+A on Mac) to select all the source text, then press Ctrl+C to copy. Return to iLoveF, paste the text into the box in Step 3, and click Download.

When a video is posted with privacy settings like 'Friends Only', or shared inside a closed Facebook group, Facebook requires an active login session to view the stream. An outside web service cannot reach the video because it does not have your login cookies.
The page source method resolves this without sharing account access. When you view the page source of a video page while logged into Facebook, your browser already contains the temporary signed media link generated for your session. iLoveF reads that HTML text locally in your browser to extract the direct MP4 download link.

Why do I need to paste the page source code?
